Téma: Automated Long Range RC Car

Hello,

I was thinking the other night about something i could do with a Pi. I was thinking of attaching it to an RC car with a camera, solar panels (maybe, depends on budget) , and a 3G internet connection (400MB per month, should be enough for just text transfer). I was thinking of Driving it around and seeing how far i could get. It wouldn't be automated (as in driving) but i would be able to control it with a web browser. Does any one have any ideas or problems with my plan? I do not have much GPIO experience but i know how to code and stuff like that.

Please help

I didn't find the right solution from the internet.

Re: Automated Long Range RC Car

Traxxas is easily the most durable rc car's/truck's!!! No brand even compares to how tough they are!!! My son had the brushless X-Maxx, the 4x4 Slash, and the 4x4 Stampede until all his rc's, batteries, and chargers were stolen!!! He was crushed and at 12 years old, they were his absolute favorite thing to do. Unfortunately as a single parent with full custody, I can't afford to even replace them.

hmm Traxxas Stampede  hmm Losi Mini 8ight 1/14 4WD hmm Himoto MegaE8MTL Monster Truck hmm  Axial SCX10 II Jeep Cherokee hmm Savage XS Flux VGJR hmm Exceed RC Mad Torque 8x8 Crawler hmm
